Ella is officially a month old today. Being her mommy I want her to stay little forever and ever..Not going to happen I know,but I can still pretend. Ella is starting to get her own look more and more everyday. She doesn't have the baby look anymore. She is getting so big. Ella now knows where her hands are, plays in her hair, sucks her thumb, talks to her mommy and daddy, and smiles all the time. There is nothing like her little face looking up at you and smiling... ;-)
I remember the first time I heard her talk. It was so sweet. I was getting ready to go to my mom and dads, and she was just looking up at me trying to say something. It was so cute. Almost brought a tear to my eye. That's when I realized that the fun has now started. It's so fun to sit and read to her or sing her a little song now. I sing her the same songs that my mama sang to me when I was little, hoping that someday she will sing the same to her babies. She loves it. Ella looks up at us, like she really understands what we are telling her. It's so so cute. Our little girl is getting so big... .

She is such a cutie! I love reading your blog, and looking at the slideshows. It's like I'm watching her grow up...even though I've only seen her once. Hope to see you guys real soon!
