This weekend was a great weekend to just hang out with family, friends and the most important person of all my husband. Friday night Robbie's parents, Kenzie and myself went to Robbie's football game. They won!!!! It was nice to get out of the house and go to what I hope is my last football game without our little one. Not sure how many more games I will be able to go to after our little one gets here. So I try to support Robbie and the team as much as I can now... The life of a coaches wife ;-)
On Saturday Robbie and I went to the Riley Day parade, and did a little shopping. I can seriously say that I have been there 3 times now. While looking around at the different shops Robbie came across something that he had to get for Ella. I know the Cubs are done for the season, butthat does not stop Daddy from being a fan.So Daddy had to get Ella her first Cubs Woobie.
Needless to say, it's in her bag for the hospital. We can not get another thing in there. I had to push down all the clothes and hold the sides of her diaper bag just to get it closed. I am sure that we are being alittle to protective so to speak, but we just want to make sure she has everything that she needs. The child is spoiled rotten and she is not even here yet.
My sister and her husband Rob were here today. Robbie and Rob played in the GC Baseball Backers Golf Outing and my sister and I just shopped and ate at her favorite place. Chicago's..... It was nice to be able to spend some extra special time with her. She makes me laugh so hard!
Well this week we go see Dr.Myers on Tuesday. I am hoping that we have dilated or something. Won't be long and we will have our answer. Are we going to be parents this week? I will make sure to post a update on Tuesday if I can. Have a great week !!!!
