| Personalize a digital greeting October 30, 2011
A couple weeks ago Robbie and I took Ella to St. Louis for her 3rd Birthday celebration. It was actually our first vacation has a family, and it was truly awesome. The four of us had a great time and wouldn't have changed one thing about our trip. Well maybe all the darn construction that we hit. We had planned on going to the hotel first to change a freshen up before visiting Grant's Farm, but as you can tell by the pictures we are in our traveling clothes. I seriously think we all had something GC related on. HAHA..
Grant's Farm was awesome and the weather was perfect. The weather was wonderful and our time together was precious. While we were at Grant's Ella and I fed the goats milk, brushed them, road the carousel, enjoyed a snow cone and most important of all got to see all the BIG pretty horses. Ella of course enjoys seeing all the baby ones. ;)
Our trip to the St. Louis Zoo was fun also. The weather was awesome and when we got there we had the whole place to just us. Which was nice ;) This trip to the zoo we visited the kid area which to our surprise was free for the first hour the zoo was open. Ella enjoyed seeing all the animals and petting the darn goats. It was super cute because we were getting ready to pick up a brush and the darn goat peeded on the brush. Out of our little girls mouth comes " That nasty thing peed on the brush mommy." Of course we couldn't help but laugh at her. Some of the things that comes out of her little mouth is just amazing. As you will see or have seen in the pictures, Ella was having a great time with the gorilla. It was literally sitting by the glass and would reach out to Ella and then started showing her his food. It was super cute and a moment that we will always talk about. It was just one of those I can't believe this is happening moments.
Overall, our trip to St. Louis was awesome. Robbie and I wanted to do something for Ella's birthday that she would always remember and were blessed to have been able to do so. Ella was such a BIG GIRL the whole time we were gone. From riding in the van, to swimming, walking and napping she was perfect in every way. There are often times that Robbie and I call for group hugs over how well Ella behaves. We have been so blessed with a true little star.
