What a weekend...

This weekend was everything I thought it would be and more. The three of us had so much fun together. Saturday morning we were able to sleep in until 9:00. That's something that just doesn't happen at our house. I woke up at 7:00 and I was holding Ella and Robbie was holding me. I seriously just laid there until they both got up. I love waking up like that in the morning. That afternoon we were able to spend most of our time outside planting more flowers and we even did a little swimming. It was so hot out. We didn't stay out long, because the heat was just awful. So we brought our little party inside, where we watched horse racing( Ella's new favorite thing to do) played with little people, and colored. Daddy and Ella were able to sneak in a nap before baseball. I love looking over and seeing the two of them holding one another in the chair..It just doesn't get any better.
Saturday night, Robbie had a game so Ella and I packed up and went to watch them play. Robbie and the team were able to pull off a win 15-0. Ella and I were excited for them, but my was it a boring game..;-) After the game Daddy decided that he was going to stay to scout the team they would be playing on Monday. Which is something that means a lot to him, so Ella and I just came on home to play and spend some time together. Ella is super cute when it's just her and I not that she isn't always cute , but she likes to play babies and just sit and cuddle. I would sit and hold her all day long. There is just something about looking down at her little face that gets me every time. She is our little princess!! Sunday was a day for just us. We were able to meet Robbie's mom and dad for lunch then we played our little hearts out the rest of the day. Ella was able to swim and Robbie and I just sat around the pool soaked up the sun and chatted. It was nice to have a weekend that was just about us. On Monday Robbie has another game but the Cougars lost to Pendleton so baseball is now over and were on to football and basketball now. It's never ending in our house it seems like.
Robbie has been awesome about making sure that he spends time with Ella and I along with his coaching. It's so nice to know that the nights Ella and I are sitting at home or out shopping, that Robbie is thinking of us every minute. Such a good feeling to have. What a guy.
This week Robbie is going to be home with us every night. Doesn't happen often in our house, but we will take it.. Along with spending time with Robbie, we will be getting our bags ready for our vacation to Houston next week.. Ella will be flying for the first time.. Hope all goes well.. We can't wait to get away..
