Today we spent the whole day with my family. It was nice to see everyone since we weren't able to make it up last weekend. The girls were super excited to see one another. They both took off running towards one another and hugged and then hugged some more. They are both so much alike.
This year since the girls are old enough to understand Easter. We wanted to do something special with them. So we decided that making Easter eggs, and a cake would be ideal. I colored the eggs, and then the girls were able to put stickers on them. We made two real eggs a piece, and then we just glued plastic ones together and let them have at it. They had a great time, and we were able to laugh and takes lots of pictures. The girls are going to give a egg to each of their grandparents. I thought this would be something they could keep forever and ever. Tonight, were also going to make a cake. I have the cake in the oven now as we speak. Shelby gets to ice the cake, and then Ella gets to put the jelly beans in the grass for the little bunny. They will have a great time I'm sure.
I'm excited because I now have a camera.To capture all of these moments.. Robbie bought me a new camera this weekend, and I'm lovin it. I can't wait until the weather gets alittle nicer and we can take some pictures of Ella playing outside. Or better yet, when the Easter bunny comes this weekend.. Ella has been a good little girl so we can't wait to see what he brings her. LOL..
