So Robbie and I decided to take Ella to a doctor that is closer to home. We have heard many good things about Dr. Wean, so we decided we would give her a chance. She was truly amazing and was great with Ella. ;-). She said that Ella was developing perfect and was happy with her height and weight. Ella now weighs 23.5 lbs and is 33 1/4in long. She is in the 100% range for her height and only 50% range for her weight. Dr. Wean said that Ella is going to be tall, so daddy is super super happy about that. Heopfully she will make daddy proud and play at least one sport. We will see..

Ella is doing so many new things now. It's so hard for us to believe that she is almost 16 months old. Where has the time gone? She truly amazes us everyday with her development. There are so many things that Robbie and I just look at each other and smile about. She is her mommy's girl.
Since Ella and I were home all day together yesterday, we were able to take some pictures together..

Ella was getting ready to sing for everyone. She has started this new thing where she loves to close her eyes... Silly girl!!!
Just in the past month, Ella has started doing so many things. It truly amazes me everyday the things that children pick up on. I can remember sitting here in the chair thing that someday Ella will be singing with us, she will be coloring pictures, and wanting to be everywhere that I am. Well that time has come. We love it.
* Ella knows most of her animals: dog, cat, cow, bird, horse, pig. It's super cute, because she can make the noises each animal makes.
* Loves to sit in the chair all alone. She really thinks she is hot stuff.
* Know where her hands, piggies, belly,nose and hair are.
* Loves to play chase with her daddy.
* Has a great habit of wanting to brush her teeth every time were in the bathroom.
* Loves to put lotion on her little belly, and hands.
* Can't get enough of our dogs. She is all the time calling for them, and patting to ground to have them sit...
* Still takes 2-3 naps a day. Most of the time she will sleep for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours. She is our little sleeper.
* Eats anything that we give her. I'm sure this is soon to change, but we are enjoying it while it last.
* Drinks for a cup like a big girl.
* Loves to sing and dance with us. Her favorite song is Old McDonald.. She only says the EIEIO part. The other night she feel asleep in the car, so I let her sleep for about 30 minutes before waking her up. When I woke her up she said EIEIO.. It was priceless..
* Loves to rock her babies, and then she gives them to Robbie or I to rock.
* Mocks what Robbie does all the time. If he lays on the floor she lays on the floor. Super cute. However, she is still a HUGE mommy's girl.
*Can pick Minnie and Mickey Mouse out from miles away.
*Likes running the sweeper and helping load the dish washer..
* Loves to kiss and give hugs..
* Says my MOMMY all the time. ;-)
I'm sure there are things that I forgot to mention, but I can't remember everything. So now that she is doing new things everyday. I have been writing down little things that she does, and putting them in places to find later. That way I won't forget anything that she has done. She truly our little angel sent from above. I can't imagine life without her.
