It's so hard to believe that 11 months ago we had our little Princess.. It seems like just yesterday, Robbie and I were leaving the hospital with her. Ella still manages to amaze us everyday with the new things she is trying to say and do. Just recently she has started watching tv with us. She loves to watch Harry the Bunny, Tech the Tractor, and Tic Toc and Tizzy. We grab her blanket, gigi and we just cuddle in the chair for hours. I love it. I knew the day would come where she would love to hold her mommy and daddy, just as much as we love to hold her.. Her actions, words, and faces literally brighten up our day each and every day.
This is one of her new faces that she has started making, that we wake up to the every morning.. I just snatch her up and kiss and hug her.. One day we were playing in her room, and I made this face to her, and she did it back.. HAHA Now it's just the cutest thing every...
Ella is now totally off formula and is on whole milk. She is still taking anywhere between four to six 8 oz bottles a day, and eats whatever you put in front of her.. Robbie and I are so thankful that she loves all of her fruit and veggies, and she loves her some cheese. Everyday when we get home from Nene and Papa's house she eats a whole single of cheese, and drinks some juice. It's just enough to hold her over until Daddy gets home from football. We try at least 4 nights a week to all sit down and eat together. However, with Daddy coaching three sports and now reffing ( spelling) we are losing another night. Why I was silly enough to agree to three sports is beyond me. Daddy did tell us that next year he is not coaching three sports.. I was so happy to hear that, I wanted to jump up and down..
As most of the already know. Ella loves to talk just are much or maybe even more than her Daddy does. Ella can now say papaw, mommy, baba, gigi, dada, Shelby ( we just get the bee out of her now) HAHA... baby, bye bye, hi, tries to blow kisses, loves to give kisses, gives high fives, and loves to head butt... Ella is now standing up on her own, getting up on one knee and is walking with her walker all the time.. It's just a matter of time before she takes off and is on the run.. Memo is guessing that she will be walking in another 2 weeks.. I can't wait ;-)
Last weekend was my cousins wedding, and Ella and Shelby were the flower girls.. For some reason Robbie and I didn't take one picture while we were there... To much going on and just not enough time I guess.... Of course Ella and Shelby were good as gold..The both looked like little angles...
Robbie and I were a little nerves about leaving her before the wedding. We could hear her crying before the wedding until the doors opened for them to come down the aile. Shelby and Nash( one of the Courtney's friends sons) pulled Ella down on the wagon. They all did a great job.. Ella was clapping her hands, and Shelby was pointing at the lights and all the flowers. Of course they stole the show... Imagine that right ;-)
The wedding was beautiful and we had a great time seeing family and friends that we don't get to see all the time.. I seriously think that all last week we were still catching up on our sleep from the weekend.. We were all in bed by at least 8:30 every night, and didn't get up until sometimes 6:00.. Yes I said 6:00.. Ella and I need to be out of the house by 6:30. So needless to say, last week Daddy took Ella to Nenes.. Hope we get a better start to the week this week.. Right now Daddy and Ella are resting in the chair together.. So this is a good sign.. The girl loves to nap.. Today,Ella and I didn't get up until 9:00... Yes I said 9:00. I rolled over looked at the clock and couldn't believe it... Ella and I were supposed to go meet Daddy at the golf course today. Well lets just say that didn't happen.. Ella was ready to take another nap about 11:00 and I feel asleep with her.. Daddy called and woke us up.. He wanted to know where we were, and told us not to head out because he was on his way home.. I couldn't believe that Ella and I slept that long... Just needed the rest I guess...
Well I guess now would be a great time for me to get off her and start working on our spare bedroom. Robbie and I have been doing some winter cleaning trying to get ready for Ella's 1st Birthday Party.. It's hard to believe it's just around the corner.. Makes me happy and sad all at the same time.. I'm happy she's healthy and growing like a weed, but I want her to stay little forever and ever... Can't have it all I guess.. Just time to have another one..
