A whole weekend of nothing but family time..Friday night Robbie drove Ella and I up to my mom and dads house. He had a double header on Saturday, and didn't want us to sit here alone.. So thoughtful I know. Ella and I had a great time! We hung out with my parents, my sister and her family. We even got to see our little sister Laura. The girls had a great time with one another. It's super cute now, because they are starting to play with one another. Shelby will pick up toys and hand them to Ella or sometimes Ella will take Shelby's toys. ( wink ) Saturday we just hung out and the girls were able to swim in their little whale pool. It won't be long and the big pool will be open. My dad was getting it ready today before we left...The girls will have so much fun, it will be hard to get them out I'm sure.
Saturday night Ella got to stay all night with her mama and papa. I know it was something I said I would never do. We went to the race on Sunday, and it would have been to hard to get up and take her before. We only had three parking passes and we were taking others with us. I did ok for the most part ;) I got a little sad on the way home, because it was late and time for bed. It hit me that she wouldn't be sleeping with me ;( Robbie was supportive as always. I think I said " Robbie I miss Ella" like a hundred times. He just kept saying " I know you do honey, but she is having fun and will be ok ". That was a little reassuring to hear. Like I expected anything different. I mean she was staying with my mom and dad, and lord knows what the girls want they get. HAHA
It was kind of freaky, because I did wake up one time during the night looking for her. I had to tell myself that she was in bed with her mama and papa. Needless to say when I woke up on Sunday morning I was super tired. I felt as if I didn't sleep at all. Ella was perfect for her mama and papa. My mom called me when we got home Saturday night( about 9:00 ) and told me she was already sleeping; hadn't moved a muscle. That was so nice to hear. I wasn't sure if she would be ok without me. She hasn't wanted anyone other then mommy to put her down. ;-) She is her mommy's girl for sure..Ella slept like the princess that she is. My mom called Robbie and I on Sunday morning and asked how long we let her sleep. We told her until she wants to get up. She slept until almost 10:00 Sunday morning. My mom ended up waking her up.. She was all smiles and ready to play like always. I couldn't wait for the race to be over so I could see my baby.
When we got to mom and dads the girls were outside playing. Ella's little face was all smiles when she seen Robbie and I. I took her from my dad and hugged and kissed her like a hundred times. Then Robbie finally got his turn. We were debating on the way home who got her first.. HAHA.. .We can't imagine life with her. She is our everything. Wow we have been so Blessed...
