The past couple of days have been a little rough at the Miller's. Ella is cutting teeth and she is proud to let everyone know. Friday night is when Robbie and I realized there was something wrong. Ella was fussing for no reason and could not get comfortable. That's not like our little one. We did everything that we could think of. We gave her a bath to maybe help relax her, Tylenol for discomfort and gas drops. Nothing seemed to help. So finally about 10:00, we called my mom to see what else we could do.
Of course she was there for support and gave us a few things to try. She recommended just walking the floors with her, taking her for a ride, or just laying her down to see what happens. I finally laid her down on our bed and gave her a bottle, her woobie, and sang her our little song. " Ni-night pretty girl, mommy says go Ni-night." ( we are in so much trouble if we ever lose her woobie). It was not 2 minutes and she was asleep. She didn't move all night long. At 8:00 she finally decided to get up and play. She looked at Robbie and I and smiled from ear to ear. There is nothing like looking over at her smiling face in the morning. We love it... ;-)
So needless to say, Ella has been alittle uncomfortable the past couple days. Today Robbie and I took her to see Meme and Papa. We had a great time and she played all day long. My sister and her family were not there so we didn't get to see them. I was really bummed about that.However, Ella is now sleeping so Robbie and I are going to spend a few minutes together before it's time to go to bed.
