35 weeks and counting... .

Last night Robbie and I had a little scare. I was awakened out of my sleep at 11:30 with what felt like cramps, and could not get back to sleep. I feel back to sleep around 1:00 and thought it was over, well not so much. When I got out of the bed the cramping was so bad I couldn't walk. I went ahead and went to work anyway, and tried to stick it out. Little did I know, that when I went to the restroom, I was going to see part of my mucus plug. So being a first time mommy, I was a little freaked out.

I went back to my desk and called my mom, and she told me to call the doctor and tell him what is going on. So, I did. Robbie and I went to see Dr. Myers today at 11:45 for testing and to see what was going on. Dr. Myers did some sort of testing to where they can tell if you are in premature labor and also checked my cervix. He said that everthing looked the way that is should. So now we are just waiting the results of the test. If the results come back positive there is a chance that we could have her anytime and if they come back negative we have at least 2 weeks. Who really knows at this point what is going to happen. Robbie and I are still planning on not having her until October.

Just in case she were to come sooner, Robbie and I are all packed and ready to go. Just need to make sure that I put the bag in the car, so we have it when it's time. It seems like just yesterday we found out that they were pregnant. Now, we are making sure our bags are packed, sorting out the shortest way to the hospital, and making a list of friends and family that we need to call when the time comes. She is going to be here before we know it. Our next appointment is not until next week, so I will be sure to update everyone, with what is going on.
